Help Sometimes the animation of a folder opening will glitch.

Once in a while on my Moto X (2014) when I open a folder, the animation will freeze halfway thru and the folder is left sitting there with 50% opacity. The apps will still open when I tap them inside the see thru folder. I've attached a screenshot of how it looks.

I've tried clearing my caches and even changing the animation speed, nothing seems to help.
Any ideas?
