Songs recently downloaded have scratching/skipping noises!

Hi! I have been downloading music for a while now, and about 2 weeks ago most everything I've tried download has a cd skipping/scratchy noise to it! Any idea why this could be happening?
All my downloads come from a variety of like 3 or 4 different sites!

Is it only happening with one music player? Have you tried another player? Where is the music coming from Amazon, Google, iTunes? Those are the three main (legal) sources usually ...also what player are you using and what is your device make and model?

If the music has come from somewhere illegal we can't really help with that. other than just to say it might be bad rips if it sounds like CD skipping. Does your existing music play OK?
