Sony Bravia Smart TV vs Google Apps

Hi,
I've just discovered the second Google PlayAndroid TV app that is available for other TVs but not Sony.

Is this a known problem?

Are there any other apps that work on other TVs but not Sony?

So far, I've found:
bigpond movies
gaia.com
