Sony's gabbled with games for Android in the past with its PlayStation Mobile venture, but the company has announced a new ForwardWorks division which is tasked to "leverage the intellectual property of the numerous PlayStation® dedicated software titles and its gaming characters" in creating games for Android and iOS.
There's no time frame for when we will see the first games from Sony on Android, but we're excited that Sony will be joining Nintendo in bringing its game development experience of Android.
