Sony Smartwatch problem..

I have the Sony smartwatch, and the power button does not work, i press and hold, and nothing, when i plug it to charge the refresh arrows show, and i hit pair with phone.. pairs, but once i unplug the smartwatch it turns off, and i cant turn it on...whats up with this?
anyone know

I have the exact same problem. It's now 4 days old and I can't turn it on without unplugging the device. It says it's fully charged, works when you leave it to it's charger.

Once unplugged, the dam thing is dead. nothing you can do with it anymore.

Any one else has this?

exactly same issue with mine have tried everything under the sun but seem like it will be going back to sony for replacement
 
First, i think part of the problem is the charger not making a good connecting with the watch. That's why it keeps vibrating - i.e. connects/disconnects.

To get out of this state:
  • Connect watch to charger, make sure it stays connected (use something to put pressure on the back of the watch so the connector does not come loose)
  • Reset the watch - hold power button for 15 seconds
  • The watch will come up and start pairing with the phone but in my case it never completed and then it turned off
  • Go to your phone and un-pair the watch from the phone from bluetooth settings
  • Now turn the watch back on and follow Sony's directions for pairing.
  • After pairing it should stay on - in my case i could see afterwards that the battery was all the way to red, just let it charge and then see what happens...

I know this is a old thread but I would like to know how the issue was resolved. I have the exact same problem . I got it as a birthday gift like 2 years ago and only used it twice. I decided to use it again and it work fined when connect it shows full battery and connects to bluetooth but when unplugged it completely shuts down . I want to try and fix it since I have no idea were I left all the papers to the warranty . thanks in advance

So it only comes on when it's plugged in? Sounds like the battery could be finished. If you left it for a long time with a discharged battery. LiPo batteries don't like being left completely discharged for extended periods. It won't be under warranty, not after two years.
