Sony vaio or hpg62

Just wondering who would have a more reliable brand according to users. And how about storage and speeds?

I like Toshiba. Others will like other brands. Sony is a great computer but your paying for the name. After all the internals will be intel,amd,corsair, so on. you get the point.

As far as storage and speed. It depends on how much money you are willing to spend.

I'm just trying to find the best deal under 500 bucks. I just need somethin to hold my music. Web browsing and taking care of my website. Nothin more than that

Most of the Vaios I've seen recently are very much commodity plastic 'Made in China' machines, not really any better than HPs, Acers, GreatWalls, etc. Sony is also one of the worse for bundling completely useless crapware, bloat, demos and advertisements. To an extent that one has to re-install Windows clean to get the laptop working correctly and optimally, as Microsoft intended.

IMO Sony's greatest era was Trinitron TVs and cassette Walkmans, those days are long gone.
