Help Sony Xperia C3 RAM problem.

nicholeto_O

Newbie
I'm owning a Sony Xperia C3. This was my first post so I'm newbie. My C3 is having a 1gb RAM, but I don't understand why I'm always having only 100mb free or less.! :( Any tips or help. I recently updated it to Lollipop this week and its working good. I got 300 mb free, But i'm expecting more from that. And BESIDES THAT my game always crashes to menu. Please Help.

PS my xperia is not rooted, just stock rom, no modifications. :D

IDK what's up with the game crashing, but...

You're fine. Android handles RAM differently than Windows. It's normal, desirable behavior for RAM to run around 75-80% full, maybe even a little higher.

Don't be tempted to use any task killers, RAM memory optimizers/boosters, battery savers/repairers, cache cleaners, antivirus, etc etc. None of that stuff is necessary.

Don't worry, be happy. Relax and enjoy simply using your phone.

But I just want to ask if the CCleaner is good. I know its concentranted on caches, but as far as I know, I must clear caches because it will stock up on my memory. Sometimes when I forgot to clear cache, my Chrome's cache goes upto hundreds of MB.

If you're worred about cache, do it on a per app basis, not using one of these all singing, all dancing cache cleaner apps.

Cache cleaners, battery savers, RAM optimisers etc, none of them are needed on Android. :)

CCleaner is not a really good cleaner app. It is not needed either.

Don't clear caches unless you're having a specific problem that is cache-related. Cache files are there to speed up operation and best performance is usually achieved by just leaving cache files alone to do their job.

I never give cache files a thought. Don't worry about any of this stuff. Don't worry, be happy. Relax and enjoy using your phone.
