sony xperia note (concept)

i keep looking at the sony xperia note concept phone they have been showing off lately. as samsung note owners does this concept give us the possibility of a true choice for our next phone? im still using my note edge because i don't want to give up the replaceable battery and well, it's paid off. but this concept phone from sony might get me to jump if they go into production. what do you people think? (

Do any of the carriers in the United States carry Sony anymore? I know America only counts for a fraction of the mobile market, but still it seems Sony doesn't have much of a foot hold here. Overall it's a nice looking phone. Would I get it? As with everything else I would have to see a real working model, before deciding. But I can probably honestly say I probably wouldn't because of the price, if the phone goes to market it will have a price tag of ,$900-$1,000+

all the sony phones seem to come unlocked. you should be able to activate it on all the carriers in the usa with the exceptions of verizon and sprint .
