Sony Xperia S on T-Mobile US?

All,

Searched but can't find an answer to this question:

Would like to purchase the Sony Xperia S for use on T-Mobile US. Bands are:

850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 bands and HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100

Would I get 4G speeds in the US with this device? Since it doesn't support 1700 (or mention UMTS) I was wondering if the 2100 would be sufficient to get 4G? Or would AT&T 4G work on this phone?

Thanks very much for any info/help. I've been off GSM for 5 years so I'm trying to catch up my knowledge.

No, it won't work - EDGE only.
It needs both 1700 and 2100.
It uses one for the uplink and the other for the downlink.

I believe this device would work on AT&T however.
