The Sony Xperia Compact can now be purchased directly from Sony's online store in most countries across Europe. The phone is selling for £379 in the UK and €449 everywhere else. The price tag of the phone is significantly lower than the $499 sticker price it has in the US, especially when you consider that the price of the phone in Europe does include sales tax.
