Carriers don't like us and almost always lock the bootloader it always happens to me i own a kyocera hydro icon boost mobile wont let us unlock nor kyocera same thing with my kyocera hydro wave and my alcatel one touch conquest.

Thanks, but that's totally irrelevant.

What you're saying may be true for Carriers in the States, but in Europe (where I'm based) most networks don't care about locking the bootloaders of devices they sell as rooting doesn't automatically void your warranty. The only OEM where the network versions of their handsets ship with non unlockable bootloaders is Sony, which is why I asked what I asked, specifically about Sony.
 
Or you could just buy/upgrade through CPW: the handsets they sell aren't locked to a carrier in the first place.

True, but I get a 20% employee discount which doesn't work if I go via CPW. I have to deal directly with my network and as a consequence, I'm stuck with network locked handsets. For most other manufacturers, this doesn't matter, but for some reason Network locked Sony handsets won't (or haven't in the past) allow bootloader unlocking.
