Help Sony Xperia Z: Dead pixels in camera sensor?

I've witnessed some black dots in my pictures and videos recently. I thought the camera lens was dirty so I wiped it.

But they haven't gone away. I've read some stuff that digital camera sensors sometimes need to 're-calibrate' (sine cannon cameras have a dedicated calibrate function to resolve those " Dead pixels")

What do you suggest I do?

i had same problem with mine. its a faulty camera. i had to send mine back to sony who replaced both the front and back camera. its a common fault. if your still in warranty call sony customer services who will guide you through the return process.
