Sony Xperia Z voice problems.

Hello guys,

Been searching for an answer to this for the past couple of days but haven't come across anything yet, I'm new to android from IOS.

Recently got my Xperia Z and it was working fine (and still is for the most part). Now when I used my goole search widget it works fine until I use voice search in google now, google now will say 'sorry didn't catch that. Try speaking again' then my google search widget will do the same and voice memos, pretty much every other voice feature I've tried.

If I reboot my phone and use the search widget or any voice features they work fine but the second I try to use google now they all fail in the same way.

I did notice this didn't happen before I updated to get the google now widget.

Are you online or offline? Have you set it for offline use?

I have set it for offline use but get the same problem when I'm online.

For now I've had to downgrade my google search app but this means I don't have a google now widget but it does allow me to use the voice functions in google now, google search and throughout other apps.

Would really appreciate any fixes anyone could recommend for me though.
