Just a quick hello. Airline Mechanic and Office Manager family. Likely replacing Casio Type S and iPhone 3GS this week with Androids. Look forward to the info and discussions here.

We just pulled the trigger on an LG Revolution and 2ea. Casio Commandos. the Wifes LG for built in memory and the Casios for 17 year old Son (killed 3 cells already) and for myself being a Mechanic. In keeping with the rules of this forum, will limit discussion here, but if ya'll can direct me to the stuff about rooting, de-bing, tethering, removing VZW crapware and the normal things people do to these specific devices, it would save me some time. She's had the BB and iPhone before, I've never had a smartphone.:eek:
