I went from an lg g2 to the s6 a couple of weeks ago and REALLY regret it. Wifi sucks. Trusted places works when it feels like it. Overheats. Loads sites ssllllooooowwww. Did all the research, tried all the fixes. Still a POS

Guess I don't really have a question. Just ranting

Maybe it's just you? That doesn't happen on my S6.

I went from an LG G3 to my current S6. While I prefer the case size and build of the S6, the G3 was more intuitive, and more user friendly IMHO. Camera I give the S6 a slight edge in picture quality. The back curvature of the LG phones were slightly more comfortable to hold. But I don't think the S6 is a POS. No overheating issues, but my S6 does get hotter than the LG.

I like the size and the feel of the phone. It is faster than the S5 but I do not think it was a big jump forward.

In regards to battery life and the loss of it being waterproof I think it is a step backwards.

I'd give it some time...Honestly, I felt the same way when I came on board. This is my first Sammy. I came from a line of HTC phones. I still prefer HTC Sense over TouchWiz, but everything else is arguably the same or better. The overheating happens on so many different phones, and (I believe) on some batches which were manufactured. WiFi, Battery and responsiveness should all see improvements with the latest update. Out of curiosity, are you running version 5.1.1?

I have to say that I've calmed my opinion down a lot since I wrote the op. Phone is fine actually. I came from lg (spectrum / g2) so it was probably just reaction to change.

Other than the below average battery (which gets better but still not great when you update to 5.1.1) , I love my S6.
