I also REALLY need to know that they will allow data and voice at the same time. It is just crazy that all of the current phones can't do this.
Although I *hated* AT&T, it was beautiful to be talking on the phone while navigating via GPS, rcving emails, etc., all at the same time.
I read in one of the news stories on CNET that Verizon said that "some" of the phones would do this.
This should be true NOW for all phones!

For USB modems, they are $50 for 5GB and $80 for 10GB. However, I expect VZW will create a separate model of tiered prices for smartphones because not everyone used 5GB of data, even with a fast network. Think about it: when VZW implemented the tiered model for 3G phones, 5GB was on the high end. I doubt most people would bite if 5GB for $50 was the lowest plan for a phone you could get on the 4G network. I'm just going to be patient and wait until they announce a new model.
On another (tangential) note, I love all these sexy new phones with dual cores, HD recording, front-facing cameras (I LOVE these phones!), but I found one thing a tinge disappointing: No QWERTY phones? What happened to the Merge? I know many people don't dig the physical qwerty phones anymore, but I found it slightly lame that there won't ever be a 4G qwerty phone. When I got the Droid, I fell in love with google and Android, and would love to continue using the OS, but one of the key reasons I went with Android (over the BB Storm 2) was because it offered a qwerty keyboard.
I guess my point is, one of the big selling factors Android had over iOS and RIM was it's variety of different phones to fit the needs of almost anyone (think of all the awesome Android phones VZW offers now on 3G). I just found it disappointing that VZW is starting off it's new 4G network with a lineup that isn't exactly as diverse as it used to be.
Sorry I went off on a rant here... :-/
