Help Sound problems since last update

Hi newbie here,

Hoping someone can help, on Saturday I had an update arrive on my S3, downloaded it and installed and ever since I've had no sound. No key sound, no ringing, no notification, no screen swipe sound nothing.

Everything else works fine, I just have no idea when someone is calling or texting me grrrr

Any tips before I go and take it down to the local store before repair??

Basics: Did you pull the battery and restart. did you check mute settings, did you plug and unplug any headphones?

Final option is to do a factory reset probably.

If that didn't work then it would be a replacement most likely.
