I suspect I am getting spam calls from a VOIP place. Reason being that they report as local to me being in the same area code and all that. When I return the call, the number doesn't even know that I was called so the spam call spoofed their number.
As I understand it, VOIP makes it easy to do this so it looks local and you pick it up. Is there a way to categorically block any call from a VOIP phone or am I reading this wrong? TIA
