Help Speaker not Working

I have replaced my battery on the HTC One X as it was faulty, since doing this the external speaker has stopped working, I'm not overly bothered but wondered if there is anything I can do to rectify this?

I have had a browse about but none of the advice has helped so far

It's possible that you accidentally knocked or shorted out the cable that runs from the motherboard to the speaker. Is it possible for you to open the phone back up and look to make sure everything looks connected? (if you were the one that changed the battery)
