So I was trying to hook up my phone to a friend's surround sound system. I saw an audio jack cable and without thinking plugged it into my phone. Sound didn't come out of the speakers and when trying to determine why, I realized that the audio jack cable that I used was actually a split cable from the subwoofer. So I assume one end hooked the subwoofer up to whatever else and I grabbed the other end. Since then my phone speakers haven't been working properly. If I try to change the volume of the ringtone etc the sound works fine, but during calls it only works if I put on speakerphone and when I plug in headphones or other speakers sound only comes out of the right speaker/earbud.
I have no idea what to do. I tried googling but haven't found someone with a similar enough situation. I'm on vacation so I'm also limited to when I have a (slow) wifi connection, which makes it hard to do a lot of digging.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
