Help specific ringtone assignments

I recently synced up my work email to my phone and ever since then its driving me nuts. Its the same notification tone for all notifications. Is there anyway to assign a specific ringtone to sms, then emails, then just notifications? I've gone thru settings and looked at notifications and volumes and can't figure it out.

I don't know what ROM you're running but on cm you can go into each individual program's settings and set a ringtone for it. (Eg. - messaging app settings has a default ringtone setting, each account in email has a default ringtone setting, etc.)

Not sure what rom i have, but i think i got it. i'll wait till i get a work email. If it works then im good. But i need to download some new alert tones, the stock ones are horrible. LOL
