[SPECULATION] The last Nexus

I love speculation threads first off :)

Okay, but I feel like we will get a lot more hints of something coming, if something does end up being released. Typically Google does the late summer release for their tablets, at least the Nexus 7 has been like this, so if the 8 follows that idea then we might see something very soon.

Otherwise the phones and Nexus 10 weren't released until November-ish.

I am definitely excited for what Google is going to bring to the table soon.

It must be running Android 4.4 because the time on it is 4:40. We all know that the time on Android phones indicate the Android version it is running.

At this point I expect to see an HTC made 8" nexus at Google I/O.

I'll likely buy it to replace my aging 2012 nexus 7 that's having charging issues.

Well probably see an android TV as well.

As far as android silver replacing the nexus program - I'm less and less concerned about this the more we hear about it. Android needs devices to be developed on. There will always be some sort of device that embodies what the nexus does. Whether or not the price stays rock bottom is the only thing that remains to be seen.

I don't know about that, from what I have heard Google has been pretty satisfied with ASUS and the build quality they are giving Google for the N7. However, since HTC has been out of the Nexus line for a long time it might just be about time that they got involved.

I would hope to see this :), there are so many good things that could come out of that.

I don't know if there's going to be another Nexus phone but I'm looking forward to Android Silver....and Project Ara.

We've seen some leaks already for both

They appeared in the AOSP 4.4.3 changelog
