Speeding Ticket Alert

I wish I was a little more savy with development but thought I would pass the idea along instead.

Has anyone thought of integrating common speeing/radar traps locations with either a map or navigation? We all know where these are in our citys and I am sure there is a city database that has tickets where an app could determine most frequently ticketed locals. If this could be merged with a navigation app that would make for one really cool and money saving app.

That is a good app but I was hoping for a more automated approach. There are tons of apps that use rating information (ie: restaurant, hotel... and such) that is automated. I was wondering if there was a way to "tap" into a database of issued tickets? Might be more work than its worth but it would hopefully be quite accurate. You could also include details such as time tickets are issued and the notification would only alert you if you were approaching the trap during that time??

Has anyone used Trapstar! ? Is it pretty accurate? I looked up my local area and it seems to have a pretty good grasp of all the traps I have seen.
