Speedx 3D ~ Speeding in 3D Never Felt So Good!
It plays like WipeOut and looks like Tron, Tetris, and Guitar Hero had an orgy. It's a game that takes no time to learn and endless hours to master. It's a get in get out, randomly generated, never ending thrill ride that easily earned the top spot on my list of Android greats.
The game is controlled by the accelerometer of your android device. The controls are quite accurate and can be adjusted in the options menu. You can also change the difficulty setting which controls the obstacles and environmental changes within the game.
After tapping play the game counts down from 3 and calibrates your device at the same time. As you blast down the initial worm hole you'll need to have quick reflexes to avoid hitting obstacles in your way. Make it out of the wormhole and you'll find yourself on a flat expanse. Make it further still and you may be on the outside of the wormhole spiraling around it as you collect the yellow power ups that are scattered along the path. These power ups allow a second chance at life if you just so happen to hit a block that might be making its way across the screen. And trust me, you will hit blocks.
The game never plays the same and never ends. You can get in and out before a traffic light even has a chance to change color, all though, I don't recommend playing the game while driving. Your high score can be uploaded with a short comment as well. I highly recommend this game and look forward to future apps the developer comes up with.
