Spigen Neo Hybrid or Slim armour? Can't decide!

Hey, people.

So I'm looking to buy a case for my new Red Nexus 5 and I've shortlisted these two. But now I've no idea which one to go for. Also, which I was just wondering about your opinion on how a gold color of either of these cases would look on the red N5.
Which one is the thinner and lighter one of the two?

Thanks! :D

No real opinion on color (my wife claims that I sit on my sense of taste, but not that politely), but as far as thickness with a TPU case, the thicker and stiffer the better, as far as I'm concerned. I've seen what happens to LCD displays from the shock of a phone case stopping short when it's falling. I'd rather have a lot of TPU to absorb the shock.

Red + Gold = Ironman.

With those cases the only red you'll see is the ear speaker grill and the three holes at the bottom.

I love my slim armor case, personally. It's protected my phone from a couple of nasty drops so far and doesn't add too much in the way of bulk.

Can only speak for the Neo Hybrid, at first I was a bit unsure as it does add a bit of meat to the phone but the protection is second to none and the premium feel of it soon won me over. The slim armour case will be thinner and lighter hence the name.

I use a neo hybrid, it adds a fair bit of bulk to the phone but the feel is nice and it seems like it should give pretty good protection.

I don't like the look of the slim armour.

The slim armour is actually thicker and heavier than the neo hybrid hence the better protection from drops. I did not like the buttons on the slim armour though as it required a lot of force and didn't have any tactile feel to it so I went with the neo hybrid.

Good choioce. I've been using the SlimArmour in black since N5 release.
I've dropped it a bunch of times and so far so good.
When putting it on don't take the 2 pieces apart and it will be easier to put on.

Love my slimarmor.

Enough to buy a second one in a different color ;)

As far as difficult button pressing: I emailed Spigen about it, and they sent me a different inner mold that was much easier to press. The 2nd one I ordered also had this "issue", but as I already has the fixed one it was no big deal, I just switch out the innards if I switch colors
