Splash ID sucks. Are there any good alternatives to this?

Not for me it doesn't. I used it for years on Palm and the data transferred seamlessly to my Android version. It synchronises perfectly with my PC (using wi-fi) and I've had no problems whatsoever.

Why does it suck?

I use it on a Samsung Galaxy SII.

I have seen some intermittent sync issues; I generally have ALWAYS used them, since Palm and BB.

I have mostly moved to Datavault.
