Split second distorted/stutter sound during music playback

When I copy music to my phone from my computer with the USB cable there is stutter sounds a few times when music plays. So far only reinstalling the driver software fixes the problem temporarily, but when I plug my phone to the computer again and copy music over, it starts happening again.

Is there a permanent fix to this? Is there something wrong with my computer? Please help.

Hello!
Not exactly sure what you mean.
After transferring the music from your computer to your device, you play the music on your device and the music stutters?

How exactly are you transferring the music? Drag and drop?

Hmm, not sure but have you tried a different usb cord?
I'm puzzled as to why reinstalling the drivers would make a difference?

Are you using the stock player on the phone or a different, 3rd party app?

And does the music stutter in the same place every time? i.e. song "A" will stutter at 1:30 everytime. Or is it random stutter?

I tried using all 3 USB cords in the house, same thing happens every time.

Using stock player

Yeah it always stutters at a specific time.

It is weird that reinstalling the driver stops it, but it's the only way I found so far that fixes it, but as I said, it only a temporary fix and it happens again the next time I plug in my phone.

Wow, that is something that I have not come across yet. :wtfdroid:

What device do you have? The reason I ask, do you put music on the removable sd card? (if applicable) or internal memory?
If the removable sd, perhaps remove the card, put it in a card reader, then into the computer, then transfer?
Or, transfer wirelessly via an app called AirDroid?

I'm just throwing some ideas out there as I am seriously baffled :D
Sorry I can't help you more, but if I think of something, I'll post back here.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Avant, and I don't have an SD card so I just put music in the internal memory.

I'll try that app later. Thank you for attempting to help me at least lol.
