hi, I've got a problem with my Galaxy Tab. Since a few days it speaks the name of the website that I go to. So far I haven't been able to turn this of. Can you help me, because it is very annoying :mad:
 
Press on the battery / wifi at the bottom right (right on right bottom corner). Something will come up. Between ''GPS'' and ''Auto rotation'' you will see ''sound or silent'' if you look up at bit. Choose ''silent'' and it will not speak anymore. Good luck. Sue
 
I'm sorry, but that is not the solution. It stops the sound all right, but now it vibrates and gives no sound at all. Not even in angry birds and other games.

So I'm still one step away from throwing the tablet out of the window. :mad:
 
It sounds (no pun intended :D) that you may have enabled an accessibility feature such as Talk Back. Accessibility is meant to aid the blind, visually impaired and people with other disabilities.

Try this:

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap Accessibility
  • Make sure all the checkboxes on the right are unticked.
