Sportstap Notification Problems

I've really become frustrated and annoyed by Sportstap.

I have the widget set up and also have notifications set up for Mets (baseball) and Giants (football). I have it set to notify me on score changes and start/end of games.

I have a Droid X running 2.2.

I find that, very frequently, I get system notifications when none of those events happened.

Today, the Mets and Giants games ended hours ago, yet, I get keep getting and keep clearing notifications of the final score.

I've emailed sportstab about this mulitple times and they've ignored me so far.

Does anyone else see the same behavior with notifications?

Any other programs that will generate system notifications for score changes for my favorite teams?
 
Glad it's not just me. I wish they'd reply to my emails though.

There have been lots of other times I got updates when I didn't have, but today it's really going haywire.
 
Got 2 updates last night for Sportstap. I didn't get any notifications I shouldn't have during the Mets game last night, but that's a small sample. I do hope it's fixed.

On the other hand, some of the recent market comments are not great about the update. There appear to be some bugs.

This is a version 3.0, so looks like it's a major update. Unfortunately, it seems as if this developer has communication issues. Doesn't answer any emails and I don't see any changelog whatsoever. There were definitely some new menu settings too.
 
I installed SportsTap last week, but nothing loaded on either the app or the widget even after several days. I finally uninstalled it and went back to ESPN ScoreCenter.

If SportsTap was updated last night though, I may give it a second chance to see if it is any better.
 
Sportstap is my go to for sports, I really hope they fix the problem. The widget and notifications use to work very well. I just updated this morning, will have to turn the notifications back on and try it again.
