Help Spotify Storage Issue

I contacted Spotify and they were no help, so now im coming here for help! My HTC Desire 816 (5.0.2 Lollipop), is having a storage issue with Spotify. It shows that my app's data (my music) is on the phone storage, rather than the SD Card storage, even though it in fact is located on the SD Card. This brings up an issue, the phones measly storage of about 4 GB, shows up as almost full, becuase the phone thinks the data is in the phone storage. The 'move to SD' button is greyed out. Please Help, I can't even update my apps anymore because of it!

Someone else had the exact same issue with Spotify and an Oppo Find 7 over on Oppo Forums. In that it couldn't store music on removable SD rather than internal, the option was grayed out. It should be able to even with Kitkat or Lollipop. An app can create directories and store media on SD, there's no restrictions on that. I suggested that poster email Spotify support about it, see what they have to say and if they can suggest anything, maybe an update. Although in that case I don't think Spotify would be interested in a phone that's not in the United States, like Oppo. Only Spotify can fix it. If they're just fobbing you off...OK..take your custom somewhere else.

Frankly these days phones with only 4GB internal storage shouldn't even be considered now IMO, unless you're not actually intending to install any apps or use much media, and are really on a budget. Minimum 16GB, 32GB is better.

Move to SD is greyed out means you are no longer Premium membership, for solving this problem prefectly, you need to use your computer to help you transferring music to your SD card via TuneFab Spotify Music Converter.
