Sprint announcing Nexus S 4G, EVO 3D, and EVO View tablet at CTIA?

Maybe you're right. I'm going all on memory. Maybe it was the prototypes I was thinking of, not the ones released to customers at google io.
Yeah I think it was the prototypes. The only ones I saw with the red were leaked images before release.

What's weird to me is the EVO 3D looks eerily similar to the EVO shift:

Just seems like there's a lot of wasted real estate at the bottom of the phone, compared to the EVO. If that's a significant amount of added length to the phone, I might just pass on the EVO 3D, regardless of the stats. The fact that the EVO will likely be getting Gingerbread, is reason enough for me to be hesitant. I'll wait for more "formal" pics.

Mr. Bluescreen said it would be a beefier kickstand.

He did say he was still working on it so perhaps this is an early demo and not Finished?

Still don't like how they have positioned the camera lenses to protrude from the phone to rest on them when laid flat. Thought HTC would've learned from the 1st gen...smh.
I DO like how they have added sort of a "widgetlocker" type function to the lockscreen & the added animation when scrolling through the home screens.

has no kickstand and wont have one. HTC confirmed this in the live video feed. it MAY have a dual 4g chip going by what an HTC rep said to someone off the side at CTIA. but that remains to be seen.

rep also stated a case with a kickstand.. i have an evo and have the ballistic case. the evo has been in this case since the case was shipping. i forgot there was a kickstand on the evo since the case has one built in. i think this was a safe trade off htc/sprint did. even before the ballistic case, i didnt use the kickstand at all. i may be in the minority here but i wont miss the kickstand at all..

I use my kickstand alot. If they have a case that will have one on it then I can say I might get this phone. But still not sure a case will fix the problem of the charging port being on one side and volume buttons being on the other side. There are some things I really like about this phone but not happy about the kickstand and only 4GB of internal memory. The camera sticking out does not really bother me. A good case will fix that. But what is so different about this phone than the original EVO that would make one want to upgrade? The 3D screen and dual core is not enough for me. But maybe once I get my hands on one and see it in action I will change my mind. I just don't see myself at this point getting one on launch day.

Here are the Evo View specs. Sprint - HTC EVO View 4G? tablet

I hate how they advertise the stylus like it comes with it. I wonder how much it's going to cost. This really has my eye because I want some thing with a stylus, but I'm curious why they didn't put a dual-core CPU in it.

I'm really comparing this to the BlackBerry Playbook to see which will be better for me.

The stylus has me won over so far, The 1.5 should be more than adequate even running honeycomb.

Now I am torn between going stock google experience with a Nexus S 4G and Honeycomb tablet, or Evo 3D and Evo View....

That is a good dilemma to have

After thinking about it, I don't think I can pass on the Evo 3D. As a phone, it is just way too potent to pass up. I don't impress easy, but wow. Sprint really stepped up.
