I can't say that I was surprise to hear that at all. I expect anything from these phone companies.

The phone business is thriving. They're making tons of money on cell phones.

I agree with you & unfortunately, they know most of us are too attached to go without them. For many people their lives literally revolve around their mobile device. It's not to say their lives would end without it but it would definitely make life difficult.

maybe.. wireless provider.. data carrier... media carrier...
