Root [Sprint/Cricket] Debating to Root perfect Sprint GS3

Hi all,

I recently got my GS3 although the GS4's release is right around the corner. Anywho. I have rooted all of my previous phones HTC Eris and HTC Incredible mostly for wifi tethering and custom themes...but I'm hung up on rather I should root my GS3, besides having to pay for wifi hotspot this phone seems damn near perfect. I don't like the bootup image, the bloatware, I would like FREE wifi tethering, and the battery drains SO FAST even stock battery saver. My HTC Incredible, when rooted only needed to be charged every two days, but the GS3 I have to charge every night. Are there any other advantages to rooting this seemingly near perfect phone? Any cool root only apps? Any Roms good with saving battery life?

Rooting your phone will make a "damn near perfect" phone even better. If you root you do not have to change the rom. It will let you get rid or freeze a lot of the bloat, which could help with the battery. I rooted mine and kept it stock and love it. Just saying.
