I think this was solved some time ago. You would have to temporarily unroot or 'hide' root and then set it up. I don't remember all of the procedures because it was some time ago and I just don't use that app, lol.

It works even with the error giving you already had created the account before root. If not just temp unroot and use as normal. I use it with both root and unroot.
