Root [Sprint/Cricket] GS3 Sprint Cyanogen ROM Questions Help!!!

I have a few questions I just installed Cyanogen 10.1.2-d2spn with CWM...

1. I want to install google play but can't do it. Want to get my apps back. I downloaded gapps but can't install it because of my lack of experience with the rom. How do I go about installing the app store in cyanogen?

2. The first backup I did on my phone was after I downloaded cwm from the google app store. Is it possable to recover to that version because I couldn't find it when I was in cwm boot install?

3. I had about 6 gigs of space before I installed Cyanogen now I have like 2 gigs I don't know if this is from the backups, rom, or what? But I would like to have the space back on my phone.

allow me to welcome you to the forums and i hope you enjoy your stay. there is a gapps package that comes with cyanogen mod. gapps means google apps. your backup will show up when you use the restore feature of your recovery. nandroids(your backups} can use a lot of memory. hope this helps you. read read read
 
when you install gapps and boot for the first time, a window should pop up asking if youd like to restore the apps you installed previously. Thatll get your apps back that you got from the store, if you installed any .apks from alternate sources, then youll hafta install them separately. That being said, that wont restore app data, you need titanium backup for that
