Root [Sprint/Cricket] how can i update the prl on cm10? or does anyone have a stock rooted zip/cwm backup?

I got this phone from my brother, he has one so he knows the basic root stuff for it, i've never had any experience with samsung(coming from motorola and htc). So when he gave it to me we made a cwm backup of stock rooted, so far I cant find an update prl option in cm10 so my guess is I have to go back to stock to get it(it says it's prl is 24006 and I'm in Southern California, not sure if that's the most current prl) I think i need it because I'm getting constant 3G drop everywhere I go and no LTE anywhere(he said sprints rolling it out in the next couple months in the area anyway)

so after all that i went to restore the backup and I'm getting an md5 sum mismatch or something for the backup so does anyone have a stock rooted backup or flashable zip or something as long as its stock and rooted because that would just make things a lot simpler for me.

Firstly you can't update the PRL or anything like that on a non-factory (Touchwiz, Sense, MotoBlur, etc.) rom. Secondly, check my signature and click the rom list link. There you'll find every custom ROOTED rom that I've found for the Sprint S3. Locate the Official Jellybean, download the odex version, you can download the firmware/modems if you want to, but it's not required, boot into recovery, factory reset and flash the rom. It is rooted and it is official.
