THANK YOU ALL for your help but i figured it out on my own after 4 hours of wasting my time

I've been reading your many posts over the last few weeks and after reading this one I felt inclined to respond. It appears to me you feel entitled to have your questions/problems answered immediately. What you fail to understand is the vast majority of the people who help out on this forum have real jobs and real lives, they provide this service out of the goodness of their hearts and you have the audacity to say
" THANK YOU ALL for your help but i figured it out on my own after 4 hours of wasting my time"

Not only is that rude, but it's obnoxious to boot. You may have wasted 4 hours of your time, but guess what, I'll bet you remember the fix the next time this problem happens and you'll be able to do it yourself. My suggestion to you is either revert back to stock or take an interest in what your trying to accomplish and read, read, read, and then read some more about the entire rooting process. I know the info is out there you just have to look for it.

I'm glad you got it all figured out , but you have to remember we're all volunteers here. Not a single one of us requires donations for our help or takes a salary to spend our time here.

In the future, I'd suggest that you backup your nandroid onto a computer or in the cloud so that you always have access to one.

In addition, its always best to ask questions BEFORE you do something. Prevention is always easier than diagnosing problems when we don't have the phone in front of us. Especially when you may need to wait for a response.

Having a non-working phone for hours is NOT fun, but take this as a learning experience.

For the future, you do not need to do a factory reset to restore a nandroid. Simply reboot to recovery and restore it. No need to wipe anything

Mark, no offense, but you really should try to find someone in your area to unroot your phone and get the stock rom back on it. According to your post(s) over on Android Central, it appears you've now tried to install a rom intended for GSM S3's. Sprint phones are CDMA and do NOT have a sim card.

I have to agree with the above posts. You've been posting multiple times with un-clear subject lines and then expecting people to respond to you immediately.

Im sorry if i offended anyone and pissed anyone off. that was not my intent. i do appreciate what everyone does on here. i screwed up my phone which is very important to me for my work and my personal life. its my only way of being in contact with my daughter. im still new to this and new to electronics in general so i was lost. after doing many hours of googeling i was able to figure out how to install a stock rom through odin. my phone is running fine now. maybe ill root again or maybe not so i can leave you all alone for a while.

Again i got frustrated which is no excuse and was losing my temper.

im sorry to everyone!

listen... before you root again, please read up on android... as fun as rooting is, its also dangerous unless you know exactly what your doing... read on xda... the general section is filled with information as is the q&a...read up on how other people solve their problems... i have tried to help you countless times in the past, however you also need to learn to help your self... im 14 and the only reason i know as much as i do is because i read about it... please help us by going through troubleshooting steps of your own... and as stated above, none of us get paid to be on here, which means that we'll have to help you when we have the time. we all have friends family and work. please try to understand that i am not trying to insult you in any way, however i am just trying to help you out. thank you,
Shahin Eisawi.

No worries my man. We've all been in that moment of panic when something goes wrong.

The main thing is to be 100% sure what you are doing is correct before trying anything, and be as clear and calm as possible when explaining your situation.

I've seen just about anything possible go wrong, and there's usually a way to get your phone back.

This is why I stayed away from rooting after messing up my old Verizon S3. Needing the phone for work, messing it up and going a day without it was hell. I rushed into it and was completely lost. It turns out I needed to read up on it more before pressing buttons and clicking and stuff lol. I still read up on rooting and ROMs though :-)

As long as you are prepared for what you are doing ahead of time, the risk is very minimal.

The key is to ask questions beforehand. As time goes on methods change. Ask and we can link you to exactly the file you need

I accepted the blame since I was inexperienced and pretty naive lol. I went through a rather poor outdated method and didn't follow rules on wiping stuff before flashing :( When I get a newer computer and am better prepared to root I know I can depend on you and the good folks of this forum to help out :)
