Root [Sprint/Cricket] Rewriting PRL

Can this be done on a sprint s3 withOUT root access? I want to manually change to test for better data. Im dying here with 90kb up and 110kb down.

And I guess rooting will wipe all existing data so that means it ain't happening.

Rooting doesnt wipe data.

Even if it did, most of it would be restored when you signed back into your Google account, assuming you've allowed it to be backed up

After running toolkit or auto root on my note 2 its like a factory reset. Trying to get some what decent data. Only way thats ever worked is vzw prl003. If my wife knows I rooted her phone she'll be pissed.

You simply install a custom recovery via Odin and flash the SU files.

No loss of data

This becomes a moral decision at this point. As you said it is her phone and she can say no. Myself I just showed her what's in it for her (MIUI) and now she never has a stock phone for more than a day. Hope this helps..
