Hey there I am completely new to Rooting phones but I am a pretty tech savvy guy and build my own pcs & do some minor web design so I'm sure I can easily learn.
I have a Samsung SCH-R530C With android version 4.1.2 From Cricket Wireless.
The phone has served me well and is my first decent smartphone that is not a budget smartphone but I want to have some more options with it.
I am really considering Rooting the phone but I just need a little point into the rite direction.
Looking up rooting phones there is so much information out there that I am embarrassed to say I don't know where to start as there seems to be many programs to root the phone.
Does anyone have any advice on what I should use to Root my phone? If there are any mistakes made is there a way to restore the phone.
I just basically need to know "What" program I should use to root my phone and from there I can probably research how to use it as I don't want to ask to many questions and be a pain. Once I know what program I should use I am sure I can look up how to use it I just don't know what program I should use really.
Like I said I did read a bit about rooting but there is so much information that I just don't have enough experience in rooting a phone to make a informed decision on what program to use.
