Root [Sprint/Cricket] Weird flash?

Last night I went to flash the nightly CM 10.2 (4.3.1). I did everything normally- factory reset, wipe dalvik cache, etc. I flashed 10.2 + gapps. When I rebooted, I went through the initial screens, signed into my Google stuff. Then when I got to my home screen: BLANK. There were no apps, no app drawer to click into, nothing. The status bar showed the correct time, signal and battery icon. The background was the default jellybean theme. I rebooted the phone just to see if it was a glitch. Same result. I went back into recovery, wiped and re-flashed again and had the same result. Now I'm on the 11-09-13 nightly and it's running fine. Did I have a bad flash and is there any reason a flash would just show up blank? I've had bad flashes in the past but I never had a ROM show up just blank. Curious if anyone else has had similar experiences?

Been there too! Wow I thought I was the only one... never found a fix. Even unzipped the Rom and tested all apks inside. All worked... No idea... maybe it's just a bad download, bad flash or just a bad Rom.... I never found out.

I am still a few months into this stuff and always testing stuff but I thought it was bizarre that I flashed a ROM and NOTHING came up lol
