Root [Sprint/Cricket] Why slideshow attaching instead of single photo?

Help! All of a sudden my S3 wants to attach a slideshow of all my photos and not just single photo. I'm sure it's operator error but can't figure out how to undo. Help and thank you.

Are you referring to this happening when your using your messaging program?

Yes I am sending a text message, click to add photo, go to gallery and one small shot of picture is there with indication of total # of pictures therein. I just want it back the way it was--I could select one picture at time.
