Sprint Droid to PC Files and Vice Versa

Hey everyone...I have the following:
1.) Model Number Samsung Moment (SPH-M900)
2.) Firmware Version 2.1
3.) Baseband Version M900.8.os.de03
4.) Kernel Version 2.6.29
5.) Build Number ECLAIR.DE03

My question is...when I plug into my computer all it does is charge the phone...is there anyway I can transfer files from phone to PC and PC to phone?

Also - Is there anyway to save a .pdf file that is located in my emial (Outlook) on my droid?

Thanks everyone!

Once plugged in, pull down the notification bar. There should be a notification that says something similar to "your connected to a computer". Tap on it and it'll ask if your sure you want to connect, tap OK. The sd card should mount onto your desktop as a removable drive.

When wanting to disconnect, eject the drive from your computer first and then pull down the notification bar on your phone and tap disconnect. Then pull out the usb cable.

2.2 changes the way this happens with a connection screen once you plug in, so you don't have to pull down the notification bar.

I remember when I first plugged my phone in, it looked for software adn then nothing. Ever since, it just charges the battery. I get no system tray notification on the PC and do not have any notifications on the phone...puzzled...:(

Ok...for future reference I found the solution to the issue on another fourm:

"I found it will only allow access to the memory card if you have the Develoment USB Debugging mode turned off. go to ur home screen, hit the menu button, settings, applications, Development, then uncheck the USB Debugging box. If that still doesn't fix it, I had to turn my phone off then back on. That has fixed the connectivity issues to the computer several times for me. Hope that helps."

This fixed the problem for me!
