I have finally given up on Sprint and moved over to Big Red, but I have one question that I'm hoping someone here can help me with.

How can I move an app from my old phone to my new phone? It's not on Google Play anymore and I would hate to lose it (Wall Street Reader).

I can't root the S III and I would prefer to not root the Evo, but I may if need be.

You can try using Astro to back the app up and then side load to the GS3. That works for me on a lot of apps. You might have to pay for Astro to use the feature- not sure about that. I paid already.

It's on the Playstore; just install it as normal. If you want to actually move the app+data, Titanium Backup is king (may require root for that function--not sure, always been rooted).

Rooting is no big deal to do but can enable apps/functions you want; the sticky can walk you through it.
