Help Sprint GS5 No Longer Auto-Updating Apps

Over the last few weeks my Sprint GS5 has stopped auto-updating apps. I checked in the Play Store that my update settings are set to "Auto-update" apps, and have verified that my Wifi is working, so I'm stumped. Can anyone help?

When apps change their permissions eg access to gallery, contacts etc auto-update stops. When you manually update is this what is happening?

I think I understand what you're asking, but all of my apps need to be manually updated now so I don't think it's an app-specific thing. For example, I check went to my apps and "HBO GO" was there waiting for an update. It was only for a bug fix so I would hope this would have auto-updated, but it did not. When I clicked to update it I didn't get anything saying that my permissions would change.

Try clearing data (and cache if any) on the Play Store from your app management, then open it, redo your settings, and hit home to leave it open and running in the background.

That may clear the error.

Hmm! OK can you go into playstore settings disable auto-update, then go to application manager and clear cache, and re-enable auto-update?
