sprint security breach?

sprint customer care service called me this am and was told that someone has my evo pin#, also ss# i think. i was asked to confirm if i have requested for lg to replace evo which i never did. i was requested to go to local sprint office for id verification and they will work on to fix the phone plan. someone used my pin# to order lg phone and change the phone plan. as of now, no solution, yet. fraud dept is working on it.:(
 
That sucks!

How is this a sprint security breach though? Sounds to me like they prevented it?
 
Sounds like you might want to check your computer for a virus or other malware, that data was very much more likely stolen from you than from Sprint directly, else we'd all be having big problems right now.

craigslist is bad, if youve done cell phone business on there, could be it.

Considering this user account was created just to post this, and it's not a Sprint problem, it's probably time to delete this thread and the user account.
