Sprint Welcome/Goodbye Screens

Hey guys,

I was wondering if there were anyway to get rid of that annoying Sprint Welcome Screen when turning on the phone? (Root/Non-root?)

If so, would it have to be done by rooting? Ive been thinking about rooting my S3, and if there is a way to take off that screen, can someone refer me a link or video.

Most of the time, removing branding involves flashing the phone to a different firmware - in this case an unbranded one. I *don't think* rooting would be necessary - more an overwrite of the phone company's firmware - however this is just speculation!

You mean the boot animation and the shutdown animations? You need to root to do that and replace it with something else. Most ROMs use the international boot animation, as it doesn't make a sound and it looks better.
