I doubt any phone has the hardware to do this.
To do a visual scan for a hidden camera you need to laser scan for the hidden camera’s sensor's reflection.
If you are looking for a hidden wireless cam you can scan for the RF frequency. But that doesn't help you with an IP camera or hardwired.
Regardless, the hardware to do either above is very specific for the task and would serve no other purpose for a phone.

I agree. From a technical viewpoint, it would be practically impossible to do any useful detection other than possibly detecting WiFi clients in the area. But any such clients may or may not be cameras, and any cameras may or may not be WiFi.
