squeaky phone fix

There is a small piece of plastic above the end button. It's very hard to see if your not looking for it. If for some reason my link doesn't work, google it and you should find the same post(s) that I did.

I shouldn't worry about Alex. He has now posted SPAM on 50% of his comments so far. At this rate if he continues I reckon he is on an earner for advertising the bloody stuff.
 
Randell77, thank you my creak is also mostly gone now. I'm not sure if my callers could hear it, but I suspect it was annoying for them too.
 
I can't tell you how happy I am to have found this post. The squeak was driving me crazy. Trimmed the excess plastic and my G1 no longer squeaks. Thanks for posting :-)
 
The creaking thing is a known issue with the phone, and T-Mobile will replace it for you for free under the warranty if you call and request it. No need to shave your phone.
