Help Star in notification panel Nexus 7 tab 2013

SOLVED. Its to indicate priority notifications are on in lollipop.

Installed Android 5.0.2. Notification panel at tablet top right, next to the WiFi symbol, has a star. What does this indicate?

The star means that your notifications are set to Priority. Other options are All and None. If you press one of the volume keys, you'll see the volume slider appear, and under it will be choices for None, Priority, and All. This is a new "feature" in Lollipop and replaces the Silent Mode of previous versions of Android.

If you Google something like "lollipop notification priority" you'll probably get more info on it than you care to read.
