Star symbol in notification bar?

I don't know what has changed, but I now have a star symbol showing in my M9 notification bar and I don't know how to get rid of it, or what its function is !!!

You've activated the "priority" do not disturb. This can be immediately enabled by selecting "priority" on your volume adjust pop-up menu. It may also be enabled on a scheduled basis (Settings ... Sound & notifications ... Do not disturb). The star means that only priority (favorite) contacts and apps may disturb you.
